As Pure Gold is a church that loves God, Jesus, and God's people. We preach, teach, and live by the Word of God. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, meaning without error. APG is a non-denominational church in the Clayton area. At APG, everyone is special, and we strive personally to meet and greet everyone.

Our church supports community activities that impacts the lives of each generation. We participate in food and clothing drives, feeding the homeless at shelters, providing Bibles to those in need and sponsoring efforts in the local community to provide needed resources. We have a dedicated team of believers that sacrifice time, treasure, and talents for kingdom building. The Pastor and his family are sincere lovers of God and are often seen working among the believers promoting God's kingdom.

Our mission is to build a strong Bible-based community and family-oriented environment for all ages by teaching the ways of Jesus Christ, encouraging families to experience life as God has promised and to live a wonderful Christian life. APG is determined to impact the world, serving families through our faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We are living examples of Jesus Christ, who gave his life to save the whole world. We believe there are five life purposes that every believer shall experience while participating and enjoying our activities at As Pure Gold Church. These five life purposes are teaching, fellowship, worship, evangelism and service. To accomplish the great mission given to us from God, we are praying for believers that are interested in being a part of a startup ministry.

One of APG's primary goals is to help disciples to reach their greatest potential. The scripture teaches in Job 23:10, "...I shall come forth as pure as gold."

Church History and Doctrine

As Pure Gold Church is a semi-contemporary style ministry. The church was founded and established in February 2008. The church is located in downtown Clayton, NC, a small urban cluster.

Fifteen years ago, our Pastor and other believers started the ministry as a church without walls. For the first ten years, the church endured the challenges of being a startup ministry. Worship services began in the conference room at Comfort Suites Hotel, Clayton, NC. After finding a physical location for the ministry, the building project was started. Due to an economic crisis the building phase lasted 9 years. In 2017 APG completed the building of its new church home. Further challenges were faced during the Coronavirus pandemic. APG has continued its mission for God, worship services and mission activities. Our church receives its financial support from the tithes and offerings of believers.
