Ministries
We believe that ministry defines the essence of who we are. That is why we place a heavy emphasis on our ministries. We believe that we exist not for ourselves, but as an extension of God. We are now the physical presence of Jesus Christ in the world.
We define ourselves faithful servants to the needs of humanity. Educating, equipping, and empowering are the three ministry imperatives that drive all of our activity.
Marriage Ministry
The Marriage Ministry ensures that premarital, married couples and families are equipped with a strong Biblical foundation so they may strengthen their relationships with Christ and each other.
Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry glorifies God through evangelizing children, encouraging parents, and edifying servants so that the gospel may be spread among our children, families may be supported, and the church may be strengthened.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry provides opportunities for members of all ages to develop and share their musical gifts in the proclamation of the Gospel. The goal of the Music Ministry is to enrich the musical life of the musicians who participate. Together, the musicians share their combined gifts to bless others and glorify God.
Volunteer Groups
Volunteering is a great way to get experience in your church, feel like part of a community, and serve Jesus at the same time.

God has uniquely equipped every person in the Church with specific skills and gifts. As Christians, we are tasked with utilizing these gifts in our community and within our local church. Using your God-given skills as a volunteer is a fantastic way to be a blessing to others.
Pastoral Support & Counseling
Our pastoral care/support focuses on the whole person (personal, social, and academic) and it engages all members of the community as providers of pastoral care. It actively involves the community (in class, group or 1:1 situations) to support individuals in areas of general well-being.
Additional Opportunities to Serve Others
Food Bank Ministry
APG will seek to begin its food ministry program through the North Carolina Food Bank. Disciples are needed to operate the food bank and plan the food distribution. This is a ministry of helps and evangelism. Our ministry is easily accessed by residents of Clayton, Garner, Raleigh, and Smithfield, NC areas.
Computer Skills Training
APG is planning to set up a computer-training program to offer training to residents in Clayton, NC and the surrounding area. The course schedules will be announced. 
Christmas Donations Program
APG will seek to donate gifts to needy families and children during the Christmas holiday season.
